Our representation of these local entities includes employment and labor matters, zoning and annexations, election issues, Freedom of Information Act requests, contract negotiations, and prosecuting municipal offenses. This firm has been involved in complex litigation with the United States Justice Department on desegregation issues, as well as teacher dismissal hearings, students civil rights, student disciplinary issues, and Title IX and IDEA issues. Being centrally located in the Lowcountry, we are able to be present at all council and board meetings. This is an important aspect of representation because critical issues often arise at  meetings.
